How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6017016 / WPW10205889 Door Handle

Googled and found a YouTube fix-it video. Then found AppliancePartsPros, put in my Model #, watched the video here, and agreed it was the correct part. The parts arrived in two days and fixed my dishwasher in 5 minutes. But I did have to go get a #15 Driver Bit to disassemble the door, as mentioned in the video. Would have been nice if maybe I could have purchased this bit here as well? 

I watched the video at Appliancepartspros.com. I saw how to release the control panel from the door and proceeded to investigate the problem. The clips holding the handle in place were broke off, and the handle was damaged also. I found the parts; the control panel and the handle filled out the order page on a Wednesday. The parts arrived on Friday morning. The actual repair took less than 15 minutes. The best part was the shipping. Two days is almost unheard of. I got an email, with the tracking number, saying these shipped the same day I placed the order, just like promised. The whole experience was very pleasant.

I have to say the level of effort to fix this was pretty easy. I love all the DIY help that is out there that allows me to look like I know what I am doing.
