How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6024142 / WPY055980 High-Temperature Adhesive

New bearings, rollers, tub seals, belt, idler pulley and blower. 

Replaced drum rollers and drum drive belt. Will need to replace drum felt when adhesive is received. 

Went great, the front wear pads where letting the drum drop into the lower fan unit making a lot of squealing noise. Replaced front and rear air seals, rear roller supports, front supports and belt. Runs like a new dryer. Thanks for your help. 

I replace the door seal with a new seal and high temp adhesive to make it stick. 

I replaced the damper pads where the lower cone base of the outer tub makes contact. With the washer's bottom floor cone. 

Replaced the tension pulley, the drum glides and the felt seal. 

Had no problem putting it back together. Thank you 

Replaced bearings. Ordered parts as suggested in the site. They arrived within a couple of days. Videos on site made repair quick and easy with a minimum of tools. This site is awesome! 

Replaced the Felt, Glued it in. Needed the glue, didn't know some of the tabs had broken off when I ordered the stuff, so glad I got the adhesive. Video was great. Not hard at all, but a bit 'gee I need three hands' when I was putting it back together trying to align everything and make sure the felt was on the right side of the drum all the way around at the same time. I finally got a corner lined up put in a screw and was able to keep it loose enough to go around the tumbler and align it all as I went. So that will work or have someone else around to lend a hand for 5-10 minutes. 

Ordered new belt, drum roller supports, and dryer belt tension pulley. Only trouble was getting belt around the dryer belt pulley. Had to tilt dryer up and put a flash light in area so I could get the belt on correctly. Hard to put belt on, when drum blocks the view. Could have used a printed diagram on belt how belt goes around the motor and dryer belt pulley. Was an easy fix.
