How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6022802 / WPW10545278 Drain Hose

Replaced the old hose. 

Replaced the hose- took 5 mins- 

I found the parts I needed on appliance parts pros. I watched a couple of quick repair videos. Bam, problems fixed in no time. 

Replaced drain hose. Check valve was failing. 

Change hose 

I ordered a new drain hose, as the current ones check valve was stuck closed. 

After snaking and manually trying to clean out the hoses, nothing worked. We figured we had nothing to lose by trying to replace the hoses. They were so gunked up after 14 years it was probably good hygiene anyway. We replaced both hoses -the whole repair took less than 30 minutes and the dishwasher drained like a champ. 

Replaced drain hose,with your Video as a great tool. From start to finish maybe hour. 

After replacing the plume I had the same problem checking the drain line I found that the valve was partially stuck after replacing the hose and valve the problem was solved 

Ordered new drain hose and check valve assembly and replaced it. Part fit perfect and fixed my problem!
