Kenneth H San Marcos , CA January 09, 2015 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL DUET GAS DRYER GGW9200LW We broke the shaft that the knob goes on for a whirlpool duet dryer To repair the broken shaft you cannot get just the shaft you have to replace the Interface Panel. This required the top to be removed, then the internal panel that contains the Control Panel, Then the four screws that hold the front cover on. The cover and interface panel come off as a unit (after unplugging the two ribbon cables). The interface panel is held in place with plastic tabs. Easy fix and required the removal of ten screws. This fix saved me about $300. Barry A Harpers Ferry , WV January 27, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Dryer GEW9200LW0 Control board and user interface board burned out I made a call to the help desk explaining the nature of my problem with my Whirlpool dryer. I had a power surge hit it and all of the control panel quit working. Help desk tech figured that it was the control board but maybe the user interface board too, so I bought both with the understanding that if neither of these items fixed the problem they could be returned with a full refund. As it turned out, I needed both and that fixed my problem. Great service and great advice along with very fair pricing will have me returning to this vendor for any future appliance parts needs. Mitchell K Naples , FL June 27, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Dryer GEW9200LL1 2005 whirlpool duet electric dryer episodically will not start on control panel buttons did not appear to function properly I have been dealing with this issue of the dryer not working over the last three months. I had replaced the thermal fuse and it initially appeared to correct our problem. This past week depressing the start button did not assure that the dryer would function-no time indicated on the panel-either nothing or (-- -). I researched on Appliance PartsPro.com.-used the "chat"function and chatted with their customer service rep. She determined that my user interface module was bad and recommended replacing it. I ordered it with her with standard shipping (2-7 days) and amazingly enough got the part the next day. Unfortunately, there was no video as to how to replace this part but it was pretty straight forward and in 20 minutes I had the module replaced and the dryer now works as it was meant to. The "chat" interaction was so helpful I can not recommend it enough...thank you ...thank you...thank you. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers
