How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4359694 / W10190935 Refrigerator Ice Maker Control Module

Researched several websites for DIY videos and prices. Once, I discovered your website and how easy it was to determine what parts I needed, (thanks to the diagrams and repair videos), I ordered my parts on a Saturday. By Wednesday, they had arrived. It took 30 minutes to replace the parts and 24 hours later, we had ice again. 

Ordered the part replaced with new module. Only difficulty was the old power connector had to be use. When doing so the wires were different from the old one so it cup the wire. After a little challenge rewiring worked great. Very happy with delivery and being able to track on line. Will use the service again. Happy machine making ice perfect for parties

I did a youtube search on ice maker repair. I found the model of my refrigerator and then I found appliancepro. I called them and talked to a fantastic customer service representative, one of the most pleasant representatives I have ever spoken to on the phone. She was very helpful. I took the ice maker out of the refrigerator and easily took the gearbox off and replaced it when the new one quickly came in the mail. The next day I treated myself to the best restaurant in town after finding ice in .the icebox in the morning. I probably saved myself $200 doing it this way.

I replaced the Control Module. It took about 10 minutes but after replacing it the ice maker still did not seem to be working. Nothing happened. I went back online to do more research, but fortunately, after about an hour I noticed that there was ice in the bin. It's working fine now. 

I watched the video and ordered the parts. took all of 5 mins to put in and now I have ice. Just that easy thanks to Appliance Pros! 

Easy DIY fix that was guided by the video posted by APP 

After reading other peoples experiences, it seemed as though the control module was most likely the problem. I purchased the control module. It showed up in about 3 or 4 business days. I took it out of the box and had it installed in less the 5 minutes. It was easy. Feels good to save money.
