How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4359694 / W10190935 Ice Maker Control Module

I bought the Ice Maker Control Module after watching the video describing the repair. When the part arrived (in one day!), I re-watched the video, then carefully replaced the defective module with the new one. Once the refrigerator returned to temperature, the ice maker resumed its usual, very fine job of making ice. BTW, I am a 78 year-old-woman and am taking great delight in crowing over this victory. 

Replaced electronic ice level sensor and ice maker control module. 

Bought the part from appliancepartspros.com and watched you video. Replaced the part in less than 30 minutes and ice maker is back working again. I've bought many parts from appliancepartspros.com and watched your repair videos. Always helpful. I've repaired oven door springs and oven blower fan. I ordered the wrong oven blower and you quickly sent me the correct one and oven was back in operation. Have been using you for parts for years. Thanks. Jeff. 

Replaced the ice maker control module. Took about 20 minutes in total. Now it's back up and running and producing ice. 

Replaced the control module 

Ice maker was not working. Bought a new control module and after watching your very helpful step by step video on how to install it, the repair went flawlessly and we now have ice again! I might add that the diagnostic video was really helpful in that, by using my multi meter, I was able to diagnose the exact issue and conclude that in fact I needed the new part. 

Ordered a new control module and in ten minutes it was fixed. I fixed it for $93 with your video, an actual video that showed a true step by step process. Thank you. 

I swapped out the ice maker control module that I purchased from AppliancePartsPros.com. My ice ejector arms were locked in the 6:00 position, so I correctly assumed it was the control module that needed repair. I used a 1/4" socket and a screwdriver, but a nut driver and a screwdriver could have done the trick. 

Our ice maker started making ice about one batch every 3 days. I didn't see anyone else who had this symptom, but I guessed the Ice Maker Control Module was the best bet. After watching the video about a dozen times (it's very good, but I'm not an advanced handyman by any means) I took a deep breath and removed the old ice maker. Nothing looked wrong on the control module, but I ordered a new one, it came 3 days later, and I put it all back together in less than 10 minutes. And, Voila! 60-90 minutes later my machine started pumping out ice just like new. Very easy. I appreciated the video and other comments on the website. The only hitch was getting the power connector unconnected from the module (it's a little awkward. Look for the clip). 

Found youtube video showing how to troubleshoot the control module. Performed that test then ordered part from this site.
