How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6007826 / WP31940001 Oven Bake Igniter

Repair was simple remove a few access panels and unscrew the igniter and remove plug real quick and easy 

I bought 1 from you...great sales people and speedy delivery. I watched an inztall video and job looked easy. It wasnt. Had to take apart stov e to get to connector because back of stove is sealed. All took about 1 hour but a job well done. IT WORKS! 

I read the information on the parts site and watched the video. The video didn't actually show my particular model but it was still doable. I removed the igniter after removing the covering pieces, installed the new one and tested it before fully assembling the covers. The burner lit once again so the rest of the pieces got installed and we're back in business. 

Called repair man and was here for ten minutes and charged 65 dollars He called back and said the part would be 67 dollars plus labor.I found the Part on the computer for 42 dollars and it came the next day, which was on A Saturday and my husband installed the part in 5 minutes and oven was working Like new. Thanks appliance parts . 

Replaced control board. 

With the excellent help of the customer service department (Joe Martin), I was able to diagnose and fix my oven problem in literally five minutes. This saved me a ton of money and time. The part was competitively priced and was at my doorstep in two days. 

I read the trouble shooting guide provided by the PROS.Like they said if not enough amp. pull,igniter is bad.Ordered new one,received in one day and took about 45 minutes to change.Pretty simple task.new was exact replacement. 

Researched Appliance Parts Pro, watched tutorial, ordered part, delivered in about 2 days, easy fix with 3 screws, didn't even have to pull oven out, & in under 15 minutes I had pie in the oven. (Not really, the new part has to burn off any residue, smelled like burnt electrical wire, goes away in about 10 mins at 425°. 

After watching the Youtube video I found that my access to the ignitor was through the bottom of the oven and not the backside panel. After getting the needed panels off the installation went pretty fast. Hooked up the new unit got it all back together and worked with no issues 

Looked on web for possible causes and then looked on here because of price and past experience .Repair took about 20 minutes total to replace after following online directions, hardest part was laying on floor to repair.
