How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014192 / WP9782065 Oven Burner Ignitor

I found the igniter why is had burnt wires I installed the new igniter and still had the issue I clean the gas jet ( nozzle ) for the boiler and fix the problem 

Our oven wasn't heating properly and there was a odor of gas. After searching our problem it was obvious it was going to be the oven ignitor. It was as easy as the video showed. Our Kitchenaid oven had one extra panel to take off but other than that exactly like the video. Just as easy as it looked. Now it is obvious that this parts was going for awhile, oven heats properly and no odors.This was an easy fix thanks to AppliancePartsPros! This was our second experience and both appliances we fixed and saved money! 

Replaced igniter 

Talked to your sales person , changed the gas regulator and ignitor 

The igniter is easily accessible from the back. Just loosen the igniter from its mount and pull on the wires a little to find the right ones. I loosened one lead and tested the resistance. The ohmmeter showed an open circuit. A very easy repair. NOTE: Remember that you will have to snake the leads through the insulation when you install the new igniter. Don't pull out the old igniter until you have attached a string or something to the wires, so you can pull the new wires through. The job is very easy if you remember to do this. 

Replaced the oven igniter. 

Replaced the bake ignitor, 

Ordered a new Oven Ignitor. 

Ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. But when I realized the process was a little more involved then just switching it out - due to the complexity of my oven - I had to hire a professional. Thankfully the part I ordered was the correct one and therefore the professional was able to use it, thereby saving me the cost on their part. They only charged me labor to fix it. The entire process to fix took 30mins. 

Watched the AppliancePartsPros video, ordered a replacement part and installed it. Works perfectly now!
