How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6037202 / W10918546 Gas Range Oven Igniter

Replaced the oven igniter. It was very simple to do. 

Ordered the part with the help of this website and the job was done in 20 minutes. Saved almost 150 dollars in repair costs from the outlet I bought my range from. Cool. 

Replaced the gas ignitor. This took a good fifteen minutes as removing the defective ignitor was more difficult than anticipated. I actually had to remove the pipe that the gas flows through and that the ignitor attaches to in order to remove the defective ignitor. 

R and R igniter, very simple. 

I watched the instructional clips, I asked the online customer support for help and I bought an oven ignitor, and I fixed it. This was easier than I expected and I saved a lot of money. Thank you. The online customer service was very reassuring and I'm very satisfied. 

Would have been a 20 minute job. Screws holding the igniter on were stripped! Used DREMMEL to cut off, and changed screws. Plug matched and job done! Cake is in the oven!!! 

I replaced the original part with this one 3 weeks ago, this works and is easy to install.
