Appliance: Amana 20`` Gas Freestanding Standard Clean Range AGG222VDW2

My oven igniter would turn on but not ignite the gas.

I noticed the igniter would glow yellow. Would not glow white. The gas would not light up. With the new igniter we pushed the switch on, turned the gas back on. The oven now lights up. It helps that we watched a video you made on replacing and checking.

Oven igniter.

Even though the igniter was still glowing orange it was not generating enough heat to open the gas valve to ignite the burner. Once i replaced the part its now working properly.
