How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6037202 / W10918546 Oven Igniter

Replaced the Oven ignitor. 

Installed a new Oven Igniter.

I replaced the Oven Igniter. Took about 10 minutes and the only tool needed was a screwdriver. 

Replaced the Oven Igniter. 

After getting a quote of $225 for the repair, I saw on your website the cost of the part, was less than $50. My 17-year-old grandson watched a YOUTUBE video multiple times on how to replace the ignitor. He said he could do it. I ordered the part, and once it arrived it took my grandson about 30 minutes to replace it. Would have not taken so long but one of the screws that held the ignitor in place was difficult to tighten. I was pleased my grandson could do this and saved me so much money. He felt proud of himself as well.

I ordered the replacement Oven Igniter. There was no connector to plug into. Did a twist connect and tinned with solder and screwed on porcelain connectors. Works fine. 

I replaced the oven igniter after researching how to do it. I manage to build a bit of confidence to do it myself after almost 6 months of not having an oven, I almost bought a new oven but it's too expensive every time I look. A little confession I bought an igniter on another website because it was $20 cheaper but that didn't work out because they sent me an igniter that wouldn't fit. I was so mad and didn't get a refund I should've gone with AppliancePartsPros.com where I bought some products before oh well
