After reading many reviews and information about the same problem, I decided to give it a go and replace the control board myself with the help of my wife. Saved from at least $100 or more on calling a repair service. Plus my experience with repair services is when the unit is 10 years old or more, they always tell you it not repairable and time to buy a new one. We looked for a comparable model, but a dual fuel double oven model in a 30" range could not be found and we really liked this range so it was worth the fix and we are back up can running just before the holidays. Although this part is expensive at $350-$400, it's quite a bit cheaper than replacing the entire range. I was able to open up the top of the range, unplug the connectors, and replace the board in less than 20 minutes. If you can use a screwdriver, you can do this repair yourself! Read More... Angus M Miami , FL December 12, 2016 Appliance: Jenn-Air Freestanding-Double Oven-Dual Fuel JDR8895AAS Bad key pad Replaced key pad. 2 areas to note: 1) 2 plastic film strips on LHS are replaced by pushing small spring-loaded tabs on each end inward and pulling up the strip. Bottom the film and push down on center of tab to lock. 2) Wire connectors are held in by locking strips the width of the female connector.
