David S Midlothian , VA April 11, 2017 Appliance: Jenn-Air Freestanding-Double Oven-Dual Fuel JDR8895AAS Ovens would not turn on timers did not work however the clock worked After some research I was able to determine that the oven control board was the issue with my range. I ordered the part and received it within 24 hours after I ordered it, this was much faster than I expected since I did not pay for overnight shipping, I did pay for 2 day shipping and since it was shipped from the same coast (east coast) where I live it worked to my advantage. Installation was very easy, I started by turning off power to the range by unplugging it. I needed to remove the back cover panel with a screwdriver. Then another 4 screws held this part in place. I removed those and screwed the new board in. Then I transferred over the wire connector plugs from the old board to the new one, then plugged it back in to test. Everything worked perfectly so I unplugged it again and installed the back panels, plugged it in. The range has been working perfectly since I installed it. Thanks Appliance Parts Pros! Thomas M Olathe , KS September 13, 2016 It started with the appliance constantly beeping and the oven would not work i went on line and found out how to diagnose the problem and found out that the control panel was failing I checked on line to price the part through various sources and found that Appliance Parts Pros had the best price by far. I had ordered a part through them several years ago for a refrigeraor that I needed to repair, and they had the best price at that time. I ordered the part through Appliance Parts Pros and had the part within a couple of days. It took me about 45 minutes to make the repair and I once again have a fully functional stove. Joe M Gainesville , FL December 22, 2019 Appliance: Jenn-Air Freestanding-Double Oven-Dual Fuel JDR8895AAS I shorted out the lower name element and blew out the lower relay I went without a lower oven for six months because of the 400 dollar cost for a new board. Finally found replacement relay and was convinced that it was a simple job to replace the relay on the control board. A day of cussing later with a total absence of help from talented sons, I spent another day detailing the sick stove and assured myself it was indeed worth the 400. Another day and I had what looked like a reworked board. 30 minutes of fitting in the 4 sheet metal screws, then 2 minutes of hooking up the board and my double oven, dual fuel stove looks and works like new.
