The replacement drawer gear kit was the solution. The video showing what to do was helpful to make sure I got the gears in the right place. It was an easy fix. 

I quickly found the part on the AppliancePartsPros.com website. It was shipped to me in two days. Replaced the gear kit. 

Purchased the Drawer Gear Kit. Easy, fast fixing. Good parts. 

REPLACE NEW PARTS. 

Watched the video, ordered parts and replaced them. 

Parts ordered and received. Installed in less than (10) minutes. Straight forward installment procedure. Not bad for a disabled 64-year-old. Replaced all parts, all parts were in the shipment for a very reasonable cost. 

Just one of the parts they did have would have cost me $280 (damper motor) not including labor. I bought all 4 parts - damper motor, thermister, defrost thermostat and drawer gear kit - for $167 delivered in 2 days. The serviceman installed them in about 1 hour and charged their hourly rate of $125. So, for a total parts and labor of $292, a little more than what they would have charged for only 1 part the fridge was fixed. I'm very pleased. 

Popped off old and replaced with new.
