Excellent online videos from appliancepartspros made it a snap to do the disassembly and remove the old parts. I had one problem. The lever is not a replacement part but rather a steel add-on that fits over the original plastic switch/lever assembly. It is definitely an improvement -- much less likely to break. The only problem is that it mounts to the switch using the same holes that are used for the screws that mount the switch to the dryer body. The holes were not deep enough to allow both the lever mounting screws that were provided with the part and the switch mounting screws to be fully tightened. They ran into each other. I had to find two short screws to mount the lever. Not a big deal. It works fine, and I do not see others mentioning this installation problem, so it may be unique to my Whirlpool model.
