How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6012288 / WP8269117 Dishwasher Door Latch Handle

Replaced handle. 

Replaced with new door latch 

Ordered part. My husband put new part in and it took about 3 minutes. 

Ordered the part and watched videos on how to install the new handle. 

New fuse new door latch handle new door switch. With the handy videos it was a snap. Glad I found your website. 

The video on how to fix the handle was great. Watched it once and it seemed easy. Took less than 15 minutes. 

I replaced door switch, handle and spring. Watch video on website, Very easy repair, extended life of dishwasher again. 

Remove 6 torn head screws top/inside door; release/remove inoperable handle/latch and discard; insert new handle with slider; re-attach one spring plus, attach additional spring on arms of new handle. Re install in door and button up. 

Repair was simple, made even easier with the video showing the repair. Removed the cover, took out the broken latch, installed new latch, replaced cover. Turned on. Done. This may not be the place to put this but I'm going to anyway :-) The prices are a little higher than I could find elsewhere with just a quick web-search. But, having the videos available for the repairs is such a nice touch that I felt you deserved the sale. In researching other parts (that I don't need but was just curious about) some of the prices are more than a little higher, they are quite a bit higher. Those I would have a hard time justifying the extra expense. But for this repair. I could not be more pleased.
