As temporary fix, I jumpered around the switch, and ordered a replacement for a permanent fix. I watched the repair video which was a help but not quite the same model as my washer.
Part arrived within 2 days.
Since the plug on the replacement switch would not work with my washer, I cut the plug off and spliced the plug from the old switch in its place.
Completed re-assembly, removed the temporary jumper, and closeout. Worked fine.
