How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008637 / WP349639 Lint Screen

By buying a part from your company and getting it replaced. 

Replace with a new one. 

The filter on my dryer was so old, the lint could not be washed out of it..pulled out...or pushed out. Ordered a New Filter...fit Perfectly. I should have done this a long time ago. No tools were needed. Pulled the old one out. Put the new one in. Thank you!

Pulled out old lint screen and put in the new one. 

After an extended search, as the Kenmore part number didn't work, I found the Whirlpool equivalent part number and ordered a replacement. 

Put the new lent screen in. 

Pulled out damaged lint screen and installed new one. 

Purchased a new lint screen for a much older dryer. It fit perfect and worked great!
