How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3094520 / 285748 Long Cam Agitator Repair Kit

Upon using your site to look at the washer parts, and exploring your videos that helped me diagnose the problem, I realized how simple this repair would be. (I was about to drop $600 on a new washer right after Christmas!) I ordered the parts from your site (under $50), as well as a ratchet extender that I needed in order to perform the repair, which your video let me know. The parts were received next day, and thanks to your helpful video, I repaired my washer in about 15 minutes. You guys Rock! Thank you so much! 

Using your video I removed the upper agitator and followed the instructions. then I reinstalled did a small load and had some bumping. I went back to YouTube and found a guy talking about reprograming the brain so I did that and the next load no bumping. we will have a large load later and that will be the deciding factor. I push down on the agitator and there is some wiggle so I may have to replace the springs but will find out soon. PS I have been with you guys for years as I own some rental property and have completed many repairs, your service tips videos and ability to et me the correct parts on time means a LOT! Thank all of YOU!

Watched a Youtube video on diagnosing the Kenmore agitator repair. Got parts, replaced parts and it agitates like a crazy monkey again.

I took it apart and saw the issue was the little cog dogs were out of place and broken. I checked out your website and watched the installation video. I can do that, so I ordered the parts and got them quickly. I followed the video instructions and I was back in business washing stuff. Thanks so much. I hope my review is helpful. You just need a socket set and a flashlight to see the bolt. I enjoy doing projects to save money and learn about how things work. 

Replaced the cogs 

I hate the new washing machines. They don't make them like they used to. FACTS! I have one from the 1980s. I found my model number on the website and ordered the part. It was delivered promptly. I watched the repair video and bam! Fixed it in 10 minutes. If something else breaks, I know where to go now.
