How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5985148 / W10822259 Refrigerator Condenser Fan Motor

Ordered part from AppliancePartsPros.com. A google search brought up a video of a very similar refrigerator with easy instructions to remove and replace the parts with a simple link to order the part required. No pressure. I could have ordered the part from another site and still used the video. But the parts from APP were genuine parts. Not reconditioned or from a questionable site. Was able to get the refrigerator repaired a day prior to when I expected the part. I was surprised by the quick service. 

I replaced the compressor fan. It had been making noise for some time. By watching the great video provided, I found out what part I needed, ordered it, and it came in the same day the fan failed completely and stopped working. I saved my refrigerator just in time. Now its working perfectly and it runs quietly again! 

I clean our fridge on a regular basis, but noticed that it was louder when it was running. I pulled the fridge out when it was running and was pretty confident that it was the compressor motor, but to be sure, I unplugged the fridge, then disconnected the compressor motor and plugged the fridge back in to narrow the noise down to this, which it was. I researched the parts online and found this site had the best deal. When the parts arrived, it took me less than 30 mins to replace the motor and it fixed the problem. It is located in a tight space so takes a little longer, but overall it was an easy fix for a reasonable price.
