How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6024038 / WPW10757217 Dishwasher Circulation Pump Motor

Replaced the motor. New motor came with seal and impeller and all gaskets needed. Watch the video, It makes the removal and installation very easy. 

Replaced Circulation Motor. Repair itself was very easy. It was a little more work to disconnect the dishwasher and pull it out. The repair video was very helpful. Parts I ordered was delivered very quickly and were all the right parts for my dishwasher. 

I researched new dishwashers and then decided to do an internet search to see if I could find anything out. Thank goodness I did. I learned that my circulation pump was bad and the video showed in detail everything I needed to know to change it. Saved me almost $600! When sliding the unit in and out of the cabinet I found that a thin piece of plastic held the insulation down and made it much smoother. 

Replaced motor. 

I replaced the pump using the Appliancepartspro.com video as a guide. The video was not a 100% match to our dishwasher but it was close enou to get the job done. Our dishwasher used to be very loud but it is now quiet and running like new. Thanks Appliancepartspro for the part and helpful videos. 

I ordered a circulation motor from AppliancePartsPros.com. I watched their video and was able to change the motor fairly easily. This fixed the problem. The part arrived super fast in just 2 days. What a great site. 

Replaced the main circulation pump. I used the video tutorial on the website which was very helpful. 

Ordered replacement and installed new motor 

The impeller design has been revised over the years so a new recirculation pump was purchased. The pump was ordered mid day (EST) was on delivered the next day. The repair was completed before the dinner dishes were ready to be cleaned. Having used AppliancePartsPro (APP) several times I will attest to APP's top notch customer service. Using the Chat Room answered the revised impeller situation and proved a very friendly, professional and successful repair. Thank you APP. This is "Old School" customer service at it's finest!! PS The online video was most helpful. 

Was going to buy new Dishwasher but the similar model in black was delayed to ship until four weeks later (not acceptable to CFO). Went through three tests to determine not controls, not float, not stuck and determine Motor not spinning when powered. Ordered overnight delivery, came in 1 day later and installed in about 20 minutes. it was pretty easy with videos online. biggest bo boo was forgot to plug in the motor and had to withdraw it a second time to connect. Piece of cake fix and I was a hero.
