I presumed the problem was in the gear case, but when I opened it I did not see anything wrong except the gear oil was thin and black…no surprise since it was 27 years old. I replaced the oil and to be on the safe side, I also replaced the neutral assembly, the clutch assembly, the motor coupling and the gear case seal, which was leaking. The washer now works like new again. Your repair videos were invaluable as I could not have done the repairs without them. Thank you.
