How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4425938 / 5765M432-60 Control Panel

Turn the breaker off at main panel. Then I pulled the oven out just enough to get to the 4 screws that held the display panel on. After removing those, there were 2 control strips that I had to remove. They just clicked at the base of them and pulled out. I then had to remove the display control from the old one and put it on the new display. Only 4 screws holding it on, easy. Next, I put the power strips back in, then put the 4 screws in to finish. Pushed it back in place. Turned the breaker back on, done. 

I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com and it arrived two days before Christmas. The installation notes attached to the part listing were helpful and I had it installed in about 20 minutes. Christmas dinner was great! Thanks guys! 

Well the very first I had to do was turn off the power to the over at the circuit breaker then remove the mounting screws. Then pulled the oven out partially to remove the nuts holding the control panel in place. Next I removed the control panel exposing the power cables and ribons. After unplugging all the cable I removed the panel. Next I had to remove the circuit board and the thermal layer and attach them to the new panel an connect the new ribbon to the circuit board. After reattaching everything in reverse (every power cable spot on the circuit board is color coded and labled) I restored the power and tested out the oven 

Easy repair - 8 screws to open and two ribbon cables to plug in. Everything working like normal. 

I ordered a new control board and touch screen panel and replaced both, and My wife is now cooking Thanksgiving meal items. 

Replaced the new control panel. We ordered it on a Thursday and they said it would be here any time between the following Monday and Thursday and it was here Saturday just two days. Very happy. 

I removed the front panel and circuit board, got a new control panel from Appliance Parts Pros.com, and switched out the old control panel. 

I turned off the main breaker to the oven to disconnect power. I removed 4 screws that held the built in unit in place. Then pulled the oven out and removed 2 screws on either side of the old control panel. Then pulled the Control Panel off and laid it face down. I removed 4 screws and the 2 ribbons that connect the Control Panel to the PC Control Board. Then just reversed that process to connect the new Control Panel. I had to adjust the Control Panel in and out a couple times to get it flush with the oven unit. Turned the power back on and it worked fine. 

Had the part the next day after placing the order. Turned off the power. Pulled oven out about 4 inches to get 4 screws. Remove the pc board and detached ribbons cables. Replaced new panel and attached ribbons. Reinstall 4 screws, reset oven, and attached to the cabinet. Turned power back on. Works fine. Approximately 40 minutes. 

Removed 4 oven screws pulled oven out about 4”. Used nut driver to take out 4 nut screws replaced control panel put everything back took about 10 minutes.
