How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014912 / WPW10082831 Water Manifold Probe

Replace the entire assembly, manifold, spray arm with seal and water probe. Took 5 minutes. Problem solved! 

Disassembled and removed filter hoping to find lots of junk to remove. There was none (I had cleaned this area a year ago). Looked at everything I took out. The Feed tube assembly has two rubber pieces that appear to act as stoppers. One of the two was missing. The spinner at the top of the Feed tube was clogged.I ordered the Feed Tube Assembly which included the spinner and had the new rubber pieces. The water manifold probe has a plastic piece at the end that was bent to one side. Although I could bend it back, I still purchased a new one. I replaced the soap and fluid dispenser with a new model. Waited what seemed like 6 hours but was actually two days for parts to come in from Appliance Parts ProS! Installed everthing that night and it seems to be cleaning and dispensing the proper amount of fluid (at least 3 loads now and the needle moved appropriately.....and did not dump the entire dispenser in two loads. The most difficult part of the repair is replacing the dishwasher front panel which needs to be removed to replace the dispenser. Frustrating but slow down and take your time, it will eventually go back on. Two people might make this easier but in my case it was just me. 

I looked carefully at the online diagram, and matched it up. I had to remove the plastic piece it fit into in order to align it properly. 

We bought the a new piece to replace the broken piece. 

The accompanying videos for both the adjuster parts and water probe were very helpful. Also, the quality of the adjusters is an improvement over the original design, in that stainless steel screws now take the place of weak plastic push pins. The dishwasher and my wife are happy again?? Competitive pricing and how to videos are the reasons I buy from here! 

After replacing the parts, the top rack was still not cleaning well. While looking for another possible repair, I realized the problem was low pump pressure. I watched the video to replace the chopper, and sure enough, the grate was clogged. cleaned that up and working like new. 

I purchased the parts indicated on this review and... well the dishwasher is working fine now. I cannot complain about the quality of the parts, everything worked extremely well. I do feel like I would have spent less money just buying a new dishwasher. 

Replaced the parts ordered. 

Replaced all leaky parts including the wash arm that send water to the top rack. Most parts are just snap-in and one required a single screw. Very easy job.
