Dishwasher is a little over 3 years old. Hindsight- wasn't washing as well as it should. Started it using Smart Wash as usual. Heard a loud noise, thinking it was something inside, I paused, opened the door, checked and didn't find anything wrong. Resumed wash (no more noise), opened door at the end of the cycle. Steam was coming out, but dishes were dirty. So my assessment was: circuit board was ok (because it cycled properly). Water came in and was pumped out. That left the wash pump (3 years old). Went online, researched, ordered part. Took a chance my troubleshooting was correct. It was, and paying the extra, overnight charge was worth it. I guess the noise I heard was the pump taking a dump. The $$ was small compared to a new machine.
