Not as easy as the video, but not difficult, my Roper RTW4640YQ0 is "high efficiency," so the tub doesn't drain completely, making the tub heavier than the demo. Also, the original rods are covered in grease. I unplugged it, but didn't remove the hoses. I removed the upper hooks of the rods just like the video showed, but completely replaced the front rods first, tipping the washer back 45 degrees (not laying it on its back). I then replaced the rear rods, one at a time, tipping the washer back each time. I would recommend a helper to hold up the lid while you're working around the tub, and to keep the washer from tipping forward while you're underneath it. With a helper, it took less than an hour. I used pliers for the nuts, as I didn't have a nut driver, but a nut driver would be better. I used the shaft of the screwdriver to hold up the rod ends while I installed the cups. My grip wasn't good enough against the weight of the tub. Tension on new rods and centering springs much stiffer than the ones I removed. Washer is much more stable during spin cycle.
