I found one of the axles was severely worn. Followed the step by step instructions from the video provided for each part (pretty incredible how easy it was). Robin G Farmersville , TX November 01, 2016 Appliance: Model MAYTAG DRYER MDE9420AYW Maytag dryer mde9420ayw sounded like we were drying rocks Right hand drum roller bushing had seized to the shaft and broken free from the roller .. left hand roller was worn out also .. disassembled and cleaned things up .. replaced drum rollers .. shafts were good after clean up .. replaced belt also .. first repair since purchased new 15 (?) years ago .. good to go for another 15 ..
