How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3094373 / 285219 Suspension Pad Kit

I purchased upper pads, lower pads, and tub suspension springs. I was unable to remove the inner tub even after removing the large nut with a spanner tool so I was unable to replace the upper pads. I did replace the lower pads and all springs, which eliminated the walking problem. In the future I might try replacing the upper pads by removing the transmission, which should allow me to remove the inner and outer tubs as a unit thus making the upper pads accessible.

Had the washer tore down to repair my shaking problem, so thought I would replace some of the parts that were exposed at that time, so I wouldn't have to later. Was easier now than later. 

Replaced suspension springs and pads 

Replaced springs and pads also freed adjusting legs . It's a old machine, that we use to wash my work clothes, so my wife does not leave me. 

I attribute 100% of my success to the clear video guidelines (words, commentary, and excellent views). Thank you Matt! Ordered the suspension pad kit tagged to the video but they were the wrong pads. They were not the ones being replaced in the video. The ones I received were not the base frame but located on an upper triangle bracket. With washer disassembled I discovered this problem. A local appliance repair shop ordered the correct pads same day. In my journey I cracked the main nut, and the thrust bearing was corroded and ended up replacing this along with main tub rubber seal. For less than $75 we eliminated all shaking and wobbling. It's as good as new. We love the heavy duty washer performance. 

After watching videos and chatting online with Appliance Parts Pros, I was able to diagnose the problem. I ordered the parts and within 2 hours of receiving them I had my washer fixed. I could not have figured out the problem or fixed it without the help from these fine folks. For about $60 my washer no longer does the JitterBug around the laundry room (my girlfriend says it was the Tango but it was most definitely the Jitter Bug). 

I logged on to the Appliance parts pros web site and found out what may be causing this problem. Then they had a video that showed how to fix the problem. I learned that I would need a special wrench. They sent me one and I fixed the washing machine. Now I can wash my dirty stuff
