How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6050116 / W10900107 Infinite Switch

Replaced burner switches,once I determined the correct wiring (my old switches were labeled the same as the new switches at the terminals) 

Replace with new switch.

I ordered a new Surface Unit Switch Kit, installed it using the same wiring scheme as the old one. Very simple install. I used phillip's head and straight screw drivers to remove the screws holding down that section on the stove and needle-nose pliers to remove the wiring clips from the old Surface Unit Switch. Followed same steps in reverse to install the new switch. 

Replaced these parts. 

I read and followed the instructions. Used wire stripper, pliers, & phillips screw driver. Instructions said 30 to 60 minutes to replace. It took about 30. 

With the parts ordered. 

Sniped the wires & reattached new receptable kit. Very easy repair especially for a guy who doesn't like to play with electrical things. Appliance Part Pros will treat you right-I ordered parts from another company with a delivery time of 2 days (ordered on a Wednesday) I figured parts would arrive on Fri or Sat. Nothing. Waited until Monday. Nothing. Tuesday after work, still nothing. I called the company and they said '2 of the 3 parts are back ordered and wont arrive here until later this week or early next week. I did not get a phone call or email to tell me my parts were back ordered. I canceled my order and ordered through these guys. I ordered on Tues night with 2 day delivery.....I had my parts on Thursday when I got home. Delivery date on package said Friday-I had my parts a day early. Excellent company and will use them again (if needed.)
