How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014019 / WP9759474 Infinite Switch Top Burner Control Switch

Ordered a new infinite switch. Put it in. Back up and running down time 20min. 

Replaced all the Infinite Switches that were purchased from this website. 

Replaced infinite switch. 

Replaced the infinite switch, and the problem was solved. 

Replaced switch after disassembling cook top. The switch was a little difficult to reach even after removing glass top and switch mounting bracket. 

Replaced the infinite switch. The time to actually replace the switch on the unit was less than five minutes but it took a lot longer to remove all the screws that allowed access to the switch. 

Called AppliancePartPros.com and talked to a rep. He agreed that it was probably the infinite switch for that burner. He helped me narrow down the choices and find the correct switch. It was here in just a couple of days. Swapped it out and Wa La, now it works perfectly. When mom is happy, everybody is happy. Gary J.
