How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3094140 / 279320 Terminal Block Kit

Online instructions from Appliance parts inspired me to try to do the repair myself. I ordered the repar kit and followed the online rpair video. It included splicing the three main electrical wires and iwas able to do that ! 

Replaced terminal block and connectors. 

Just grate went by your video , step by step and the dryer work just fine, I also replace the power cord as the red wire short had damage the cord. also the kit arrived in two work day very good as Christmas mail is very heavy. Thanks John 

Replaced terminal block and wires with new one. Part ordered was a perfect fit and easy to fix. 

This was probably the easiest repair I've done in a while. The process of ordering the part was simple. It arrived the next day. The video was priceless and demonstrated exactly what needed to be done and how. I'm glad I stumbled on this company. I will definitely look here first the next time I need to repair something. 

My husband took the dryer apart and I looked up the part on AppliancePartsPros.com. the Part was here after I left to visit my mom in upstate New York. I had a working dryer on the return from NY, but husband told me I could check it out when I came back, but I told him since he was home he could check it out and do a couple of loads of laundry for me. He did a couple of loads of laundry on my return but left me to fold them and put away. Oh well at least he washed and dryed them. Thanks for your easy to find parts and fast service. 

I replaced the door switch. It took less than fifteen minutes and required only a screwdriver & putty knife. 

Cut and replaced all three wires to the terminal block, also replaced the power cord. 

Replace the terminal block. 

Looked up videos that related to power, one video was about the terminal block connections. After taking my dryer electrical panel off, the burnt wire was apparent. I ordered the terminal block kit and received it in 2 days with the standard shipping. I watched the video again before installing because I am a nurse...not versed in appliance repairs:) I was able to fix my dryer in about 20 minutes! Thanks so much!!!
