I called Appliance Parts Pros and spoke with a very knowledgeable repair specialist. He quickly assessed the parts I would need to repair my Whirlpool Kenmore dryer which was no longer heating, and assured me I could repair it myself. He emailed detailed repair videos to show me the way. After I assessed which of the 4 parts were bad (there were 2), I opted to replace all 4 since the dryer is over 30 years old. My parts order arrived approx 3 days later. I followed his excellent instructions with the schematic diagram and began my repair (dryer heating element, thermal cut-off kit, and thermal (disposable, one time) fuse. This took some patience but I was successful. Unfortunately, one of the 2 parts in the thermal cut-off kit failed within a few days, but no worries! I received an overnight replacement part at no charge (all parts are guaranteed for a year), made the repair in quick time knowing my way around, and all's well that ends well! I could not be more grateful for Appliance Parts Pros staff professionals, their knowledge of my old dryer, advice, availability of parts, and real-time phone support.
