How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013514 / WP8577274 Dryer Thermistor

I replaced the parts that were in the chain of events like Coils, Igniter, Thermister, Thermal cut off. Eventually, it started working again. 

I replaced other parts In 2017 and worked great until It wasn't completely drying clothes. So I replaced dryer igniter, dryer thermistor & moisture sensor bar, so far working great. 

I replaced 3 parts, moisture sensor bars, thermostat and another heat sensor. 

I replaced the thermal fuse and the thermistor. I had this problem previously and ordered the parts from Appliance Parts Pros the last time it occurred. 

Googled possible causes, checked suggested circuits with ohmmeter, ordered parts (which arrived 5 days earlier than promised) installed in about 10 minutes, heat was restored. Easily saved $200 or more doing it myself. 

I looked on ApplianceParts Pros web site with model number and problem. I found possible causes almost immediately. Ordered parts and received in two days. I watched the repair video. It was not the same model as my dryer, I got enough information from it to make repairs. Dryer working great. Not hard at all to disassemble. Great help from AppliancePartsPros. They saved me from paying high cost of repairman. 

Replaced fuses and sensors. 

Ordered thermistor, fuse, gas solenoids and igniter. Received parts from AppliancePartsPros within a day or 2. Replaced solenoids & igniter, didn't help. Replaced outlet thermistor and bingo! Works great. Usually it is the solenoids, but I knew also the igniter was pretty old, it was the original. 

Well I did some research on the internet to see what E1 meant. Then I saw a video posted by Appliance Parts Pros. I ordered the parts I needed. They came quick. I watched the video again and within 15mins my dryer was up and running again. It really was that easy. Thank you APP for your videos that were posted. Being a female who likes to do things forself, it made it so easy. It was a Whirlpool Duet dryer. 

Thanks to your diagnostic charts I replaced the Thermistor and so the dryer is operating properly.
