How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6016586 / WPW10189190 Start Device Assembly

Got on this site found the problem ordered the part and installed quick and easy with the videos they give 

Unplugged the refrigerator, took off back cover, removed metal clip that holds plug to compressor in place then removed both parts from the end of the wiring harness then shook parts to verify if bad and reversed the process to install new parts for repair. Would of been a better experience if my parts that I paid much more for to have the so called one day shipping guarantee would have actually showed up on my door step in one day but that was a joke so two days later from the day I submitted my order they got here yet I was never contacted nor any were there any refund for there mistake which puts them as a one big thumbs down in my book. When on "the Google" and researched the symptoms, which led me to Youtube. Watched a video by AppliancePartsPros.com on how to diagnose the problem, which took about 2 minutes. Found the burnt out relay, logged onto AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered a new one. In all I spent about 8 minutes to diagnose, remove and replace the part. Now, refrigerator is running like new. 

We ordered the part from Appliancepartspros.com and replaced it. 

I watched some you tube videos of common problems so I tried replacing the starter overload component that I bought from Appliance Parts Pros. So far it is working great and I hope it continues to. It's nice that I also have 365 days to replace the part if the frog does fail before that time. 

Found the 2 parts needed easily on your site after reading comments of people with similar issues. Amazed when they came in 2 days later. Fridge is running great 

I replaced the start device and relay then tipped the fridge on it's side and vacuumed out the coils. Now it works perfectly. Most people would've bout a new fridge I spent 100 dollars and it work's perfectly just like new. 

Visited several websites to view similar problems. Determined problem was bad compressor start switch. Ordered replacement part from AppliancePartsPros.com. Was easy to find part number via their website. Part arrived in good time. Installed part, back in service! Thirty minutes research, 10 minutes to remove cover panel,defective part, 10 minutes to install switch, replace panel. 

I looked up problem and saw some others having same problem and it had that same clicking noise looked up part and talked on chat to make sure that I had the right part for the right refrigerator she told me she could order part, take payment and e-mail all information. well in less that 18 hours the part was in my refrigerator and all was fine. Part was shipped within hour of order and received 10 am next morning could not believe it was that fast and easy.Great job APPLIANCEPARTSPROS.COM. 

I had the capacitor that connects to the relay/overload tested and it was fine. The appliance repair man I took the cap to told me to take off the relay/overload and if something rattled on the inside, I need to replace. Took it off, heard a rattle, ordered the part. Easy fix, 10 maybe 15 mins tops to take off the cover, disconnected wire harness and ground, removed capacitor and start relay/overload kit (its 1 piece). Make sure to unplug from outlet before repair and take care while handling capacitor.
