How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6007578 / WP308180 Oven Bake Element

Ordered replacement oven, broil and light bulb from AppliancePartsPros when parts were received. Installed. New bake and broil elements using a phillips screw driver. There are 2 screws securing each of the heating elements. It was very easy to replace the elements. 

It took about 5 min to replace.the only tool needed was a Phillips screwdriver

Replaced the heating element..

Your repair video was wonderful! I knew what the connections were which I could not initially see , and I knew the tools I would need. That said, I asked a neighbor to help me, and he breezed through the repair in about 15 minutes which included going to a different level to turn off and on the power. Your video was key. I searched the item number online and AppliancePartsPros.com popped up. It was super easy to order and to install thanks to the youtube video. It took my husband a total of eight minutes, start to finish. 

This was a very easy quick repair. I simply ordered the replacement element from Appliance Pro's and received it within 3 days. Just had to turn off the power to the oven, remove 2 screws to take the bad heating element out of the oven and then put the new replacement element back in. 

Turned off breaker to stove. Removed oven racks. Removed 2 screws from the back of the element pulled it forward and disconnected the two wire leads. Plugged in the new element. Pushed the element back and reinstalled the 2 screws. Turned breaker back on.
