How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6007578 / WP308180 Oven Bake Element

It went well. Took about 10 minutes to turn off power to the oven, remove 2 screws, replace the element, replace the 2 screws, and turn the power back on. 

I found out though with Web sight that I could fix it and order part and it was very easy. Thank you very much. 

Ordred the part and watched your you tube video very easy! 

Removed 2 screws and pulled the old element out far enough to disconnect the wires. (Unplugged the electrical cord to the stove first!!) Connected the wires to the new unit, pushed it back in, put the 2 screws back in - done! With shipping, only cost $31.00 !!!!!!!!!! 

Whirlpool: Replacement was quick and easy. Remove two screws to pull the element. The slip/spade connectors could be a little tough for some to disconnect, however, small pliers used gently would take care of that issue.

Followed the directions on the video A quick fix. Also, part arrived in 2 days! 

The new element arrived the day after it was ordered! Great service. It was easily replaced by removing two screws, unplugging the old element, plugging the new one in and putting everything back as it was. Be sure to turn off the breaker (or unplug the oven) first, and be sure you get the elements feet downward :)

First i turnoff power to range , then removed ovendoor andracks.then iuse a phillipscrew driver to remove the screws from theold element. then pullout until i saw the two wireer,an unpulge them. then replaced the new element. return the power to the range retthe doorand that wasit.
