It was extremely easy to fix. 2 screws taken out, pull the arm down, clip in the pieces, raise arm back up, reinstall screws & TA-DA! Fixed dishwasher! All while my husband was working overtime! Yes. This seems to be a very common failure on this design, I've done it twice on this ten year-old machine, and I'm not particularly handy. The hint in the video about putting a dish towel over the bottom drain is a lifesaver (also a nut saver).
