How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6018899 / WPW10293048 Gas Valve

I did a google search and found a forum in which the user "Gene" supplied a link to the part. We just switched the part out and voila! Couldn't be more happier, great customer service, ultra fast shipping and a great return policy, even though we didn't need it. 

Checked if gas valve solenoids had resistance and found none on broiler and very high on oven. Ordered gas valve from AppliancePartsPro. Installed it and problem is solved. Oven now works. The shipping time was great. I ordered on Thursday and received the part on Saturday afternoon. 

I chatted with appliancepartspros and they suggested that it was probably the gas valve so I ordered it from them & installed it in about 30 min total. It has been working great since. 

I submitted my question, and problem to Appliances Pro, and they informed me that the problem was with my gas valve, or gas safety value. 

Replaced the gas regulator. 

I first measured the oven solenoid on the Valve-Gas Part # AP5306380 which was 9.7 ohms it should be 216 ohms. So I order the part it was delivered two days later and I installed it and the oven has been working great. 

I replaced it the one I ordered from your company. It was simple and easy. 

Replaced electric gas valve 

Installed a new gas valve. 

I tested the oven igniter and related circuit. I then tested the gas control module solenoid valves. I found that the solenoid that controls the Broiler had 0 ohms. Value should be around 200 ohms. I ordered and replaced the Gas Control Valve module # WPW10293048 using ApliancePartsPros.com. I had to use next day delivery because the standard delivery options were too long (ND delivery was expensive). I did promptly receive and install the New Gas Valve on the Oven the next business day This did absolutely fix my issue with the oven. Saved me hundreds of dollars under the cost of replacing the unit,
