How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4929086 / W10364988 Water Inlet Valve Assembly

Replaced Inlet valve assembly 

Replaced the fill valve assembly using guidance from the repair video provided by AppliancePartsPros.com. Pretty simple repair but being OCD/ADD it took me a little longer than it should have. If you can move your washer away from the wall you can do this! 

Repair was simple it too all of 10 minutes and now is running fine. Even at the cost of repair my new to me washer was only about $130 including delivery. Great company to do business with, have them bookmarked on my computer. 

This is the second time I have used this company and everything has gone great. Received the part in a timely manner and installation was easy.

It is very easy to fix it thanks to AppliacePartsPros now my washing machine is working now. 

Ordered new valve from AppliancePartsPros.com , order on Friday and received next day used video from AppliancePartsPros to install new valve. 

Disconnected hot/cold water hoses and electric cord. Raised the top of the washer to disconnect the detergent, bleach, softener, and water hoses. Removed the control panel cover to access the water valve. Took a picture of the electrical connections on the original valve for reference. Unplugged leads from old valve, and removed valve. Installed the new valve and leads, and reinstalled the control panel. Raised the top of the washer and reconnected the bleach, softener, detergent and water hoses. Reconnected hot/cold hoses and plugged in electric cord. Ran the test cycle to insure operation.
