How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4929086 / W10364988 Water Inlet Valve Assembly

I purchased a used washer when my old one broke. However, the nozzle to the hot water was stripped and the cold one shortly began leaking. I looked up the part number and found it at a great price here. I'm not extremely handy but I can follow directions. I looked up the repair on YouTube (it was similar but not exact). When the part arrived I used my phone to take pictures of where everything was located then began to swap wires. Put it all back together and it's running great. 

Replaced the valve with W10364988. My husband was able to replace the valve in an afternoon and my Maytag Bravos washer worked like new after the repair was complete.
