I consulted AppliancePartsPros website to learn how to diagnose the clothes washer filling problem and make sure I was ordering only the parts needed for the correct solution. I checked the intake screens and hoses for adequate water flow. I checked the voltage to confirm that electricity was getting to the valve, thereby ruling out a bad switch. I ordered the valve, replacing it by removing three screws, three hoses, two electircal connections, and one hose clamp. I reconnected everything to the new part and reused the hose clamp. Now the washer is filling properly.
This is not the first time AppliancePartsPros has helped me to solve an appliance problem. It is nice to be able to consult your information for help with diagnosis and have access to your large parts inventory. Thank you.
