How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6006289 / WP22002360 Water Inlet Valve

My brother put the new part in. Works awesome! 

Fixed by replacing the water inlet valve. It took more time wrestling the washing machine out and back into place than changing the valve! Important to mention that once back in place and water turned on the new valve was dripping, but sealed up after running two cycles of the washing machine. Apparently, there must be a break-in process.

Replaced the water inlet valve. 

Replaced parts and tightened wires on motor. This was the first time I ever did this kind of repairs so it was rather slow. I would do business with your company again. You were very helpful. 

My repair man put the new valve on and it has been working fine. So far the problem is gone.

Changed the part out with an exact replacement part from your company in 10 minutes. 

Noticed no water coming into the washing machine, but the hum of the solenoids on the water inlet valve (WIV) told me the timer switch was working. Watched the Appliance Parts Pro video online. Removed bad WIV and used it and the Maytag model number to ID the right part on APP. On my Maytag, the WIV was on a small metal insert, so I didn't have to remove the top or back. The new part came quickly, matched exactly, and went in easily. I never figured out why the Maytag part was 4 times other WIVs. But, I didn't need a service call, so I'm happy.
