How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014364 / WP99001359 Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve

I watched the video provided by Appliance Parts Pros on how to change out the part. Not extremely difficult, but there was a water line that has a clamp that is kinda hard to loosen, but a screwdriver helped to fix this. I’m not real versed in appliance repair, but the video was so easy to follow, in changing out the water inlet valve. Our dishwasher is back up and working fine. Overall customer service was outstanding and the part arrived as ordered. I will certainly be doing business with these fine folks in the future, anytime I need parts and information to repair our appliances. Great company!! 

Replaced water inlet valve, Had to pull dishwasher out from under counter to unplug power cord. Tipped washer on its side making access to valve much easier to replace. 

Found your website, navigated to the suggested part, watched the video showing the replacement. Ordered the part, which was delivered promptly, and followed the instructions on the video. The dishwasher is up and running. 

Replaced it with the new pne

Replaced the water inlet valve. 

I replaced the solenoid valve 

Replaced intake control valve 

I shut off the water supply and use the dishwasher to pump out all the water before opening the door. I removed the bottom access panels and checked that the float was not stuck. It moved freely. I made sure the dishwasher was off and turned the water back on. Water was flowing into the dishwasher even though it was off. This told me the water inlet valve was not shutting off. I purchished a new water inlet valves and followed the instructions on the video for installation. It worked perfectly. The new inlet valves arrived on the second working day. 

Seems the water inlet valve was shot. I'd replaced the Wax Motor and bought an upper spray arm but soap still wouldn't dissolve. Actually, wouldn't even leave dispenser even after Wax Motor replaced. Listening the the machine I couldn't hear water entering nor sloshing around. Hence, I order a water inlet valve and installed it. Most difficult task was disconnecting the water supply line from the inlet valve. I replace the supply line when assembling. So far, so good although I haven't ran a load of dishes yet. Just a run with an empty tub. All worked then.
