Watched AppliancePartsPros.com video, ordered part, and installed it. This was an easy repair, and eliminated the leaking valve and odor.
The only difference among our machine and the video is that it was easier to remove the old valve, and then remove water hoses and reattach hoses to new valve before installing it. A vacuum cleaner is handy to remove dry residue on back top edge of machine near valve. Also, please remember to replace the two rubber water hose washers where connected to machine to prevent a leak.
