This was a self induced problem. We had removed the hot water line from my Maytag washer. Because there is very little room to maneuver your fingers in the slot housing the connections, you usually resort to a pair of pliers. I cross threaded the connector and caused the leak. I ordered the inlet valve. It arrived in about 2 days, which is amazing because I live in a rural area, 65 miles from a large city. I showed my son the video provided and had new inlet valve installed in about 15 minutes ( it would have taken me 25 minutes).
