I found that 3 of the 4 slide bearings were completely worn away but I went ahead and changed the idler pulley and drive belt while I had the dryer open. The Drum Front Support Bearing showed some wear in the area of the lost grey slide bearings and I will probably get to go back in to get this later. I should have ordered the Dryer Bearing Kit and I could have taken care of this at the same time. Anyway, the dryer is running quietly and smoothly for now.
