Greg W Ankeny , IA December 08, 2015 The bearing slides had worn down to the point the drum wore into the drum front support this caused intermittent squeaking at first then it became constant squeaking I purchased a new drum support and slides, but while I had the dryer apart I put in a new belt, trap duct assembly, and rear bearing. All the parts fix exactly right and we had the dryer going again in about an hour. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
