I assumed that the belt was broken and ordered the belt. However, later after disassembling the dryer to replace the belt, I learned that the idler was also broken and the spring was twisted to some extent. At this time I stopped working and ordered the idler pulley and the spring. Once the order was delivered, I replaced the idler pulley, spring and belt.
