I replaced the gaskets with products from this site which I would not have been able to do without the video on this site. Hard job. The leak was still there though, so I have some hints with this kind of washer. 1) There is a float switch on the base that turns on the drain pump when there is a leak, that is why the drain pump runs constantly, it prevents catastrophic flooding in many cases. The float consists of a little styrofoam donut that lifts an arm, all white. The arm is connected to a red stick that, when lifted, starts the drain motor. About 1/2 inch of water activates the pump. 2) The fill system is weirdly complex and can get clogged which can cause a leak, look in the left wall panel if you dare. 3) The water inlet valve also adjusts water pressure, with standard water pressure there will be too much water sent into the fill system and it will overflow. 3) Be persistent, you can fix these.
