I called a local appliance parts business and got a price for the replacement element from them but figured I could get a better price on line. I looked at several sites but Appliance Parts Pros was a much better deal than any of the other places. Ordering was very easy and the replacement part was delivered to my door within a couple of days.
Replacing the element was easy, just 5 screws. (I did have to call my son to ask how to unhook the old element from the wires coming from the back of the oven. All I had to do was pull them apart!) Once I got the new element "plugged in" and the screws put back in, I turned the broiler on and it worked!! So easy!!
